AI Could Rewrite the High-Ticket Coaching Sale
Intel Brief
As buyers use AI to evaluate and implement coaching programs, valuable offers may close more often while information-only programs face growing pressure.
Prediction post:
I think we're gonna see something VERY similar happen with coaching/info-based offers.
In fact,
I'm willing to wager a big 'ol stack of chips we're gonna see a whole new type of buyer behavior show up here at the casino.
Right now, AI has access to an enormous amount of PUBLICLY available information.
But what about all the proprietary information locked away inside these $5k, $10k, $20k coaching programs?
AI doesn't automatically have access to all that gated knowledge.
So what happens when buyers realize they can purchase a program, have their AI absorb the entire thing and either:
A. Tell the fresh buyer whether what they just purchased is actually any good.
Or
B. Have it coach them through the material [without you].
And here's what I think makes this especially interesting.
As people get more comfortable using AI, their AI is gonna know more and more about THEM.
Their business, their goals, their weaknesses, their history, what they've tried before, what's worked, what hasn't.
Imagine buying a coaching program and having something that knows ALL of that walk you through the material.
Potentially better than the person who sold you the program ever could.
Now take it a step further.
What happens when buyers start using AI to evaluate the offer BEFORE they even get on a sales call?
Feeding it the pitch, testimonials, curriculum, guarantees, all the chatter online, everything.
And asking whether it's actually worth the money FOR THEM.
I think we're gonna start seeing some VERY different buyers show up on sales calls.
Which brings me to two predictions.
What happens to close rates when buyers are more informed AND less concerned about whether the actual coaching is any good because they have their own AI to do that part?
For offers with genuinely valuable information?
I'm willing to bet they go UP.
And what happens to refunds when people realize they can extract that information, request their money back, and continue getting coached by their AI?
I'm willing to bet those go up too.
Obviously, there are plenty of programs that provide value beyond the information itself.
And I don't think AI is replacing good human coaching and connection anytime soon.
But for the ones charging thousands of dollars for what amounts to a glorified course library?
I think there's a VERY interesting problem coming.
Because at some point, buyers are gonna start asking why they're paying $10k for access to information their $20/month AI can help them implement.
I'm curious how many offer owners are even thinking about this yet
