Great Selling Often Looks Effortless
Intel Brief
A seamless buying process is evidence of aligned marketing and sales, not proof that the rep lacks closing skill.
Isn't it funny how the better you get at sales, the less it looks like you're actually "selling"?
Then when you get on a great offer with stellar marketing that attracts the right buyers, educates them properly, and prepares them nicely for the sales conversation...
COOKIN'
Everything in perfect harmony.
But THEN, because the buying process is SO seamlesssales reps don't have to man-handle anyone or do marketings All of a sudden they become an "order taker."
L.O.L.
This space is hell-bent on requiring selling to be difficult, combative, and riddled with objections that when and offer + rep work so well together it looks effortless, they assume no real selling is happening.
Apparently, if you're not fighting the buyer for their credit card, you're not a real closer.
Gotta love being punished for getting good at your craft.
