Is High Ticket the New Corporate?

Intel Brief

The dream was freedom. The reality is you're still stuck in a cubicle — but this time the walls are your 3rd bedroom.

Is High ticket the new corporate?

"Come make six figures from your computer, 2-3 calls a day. Work a few hours. Freedom. Flexibility. No boss breathing down your neck, bla bla bla.

That was the pitch.

Here's what actually happens:

You're on Slack by 8am. You've got a morning huddle. You're expected to hit your KPIs, post wins in the group chat, do your follow-ups, work your pipeline, attend the team training, roleplay on command, and be "available" basically all day.

Oh, and you're a 1099.

No base. No benefits. No PTO. No safety net.

A W-2 with ALL the accountability, and none of the protections.

In Casino terms: you're an employee who absorbs all the risk.

And if you push back? If you ask questions? If you say hey, this doesn't feel like what I signed up for?

"They're not coachable."

"They don't want it bad enough."

"They're not bought into the mission."

Bro... they like entreprenuership, want to spend more time with family, and want to make money without being out of the house all day.

That's why they came here.

Nobody signed up to rebuild corporate America on a commission-only pay structure with a google sheets dashboard and a "culture" that doesn't even include pizza parties.

The dream was freedom.

The reality is your still stuck in a cubicle, but this time the walls are your 3rd bedroom.
