Want to become more “persuasive”?

Try this one on for size (no goorooisms here):

Develop a PERSPECTIVE.

What do I mean?

Most sales guys would love to reach MAX-CONFIDENCE levels on their sales calls.

BUT the problem with that is confidence isn’t something you just “conjure up.”

Try, and you’re just acting.

(Which, ironically, is exactly what the gooroos teach you to do.)

No.

Confidence is something you EARN.

And it's something you earn OFF the sales call.

And you earn it as a BY-PRODUCT of simply doing the work.

What work, you ask?

Understanding deeply, three main things:

- what you sell,

- who you’re selling to,

- and the market you’re selling into.

Yes, it’s sales—but the selling itself isn't the lever to pull.

It's ALSO by-product understanding those 3 core things.

It happens as a result of being an industry insider.

The need for “frame control” goes out the window when you’ve got Domain Control (mastery over those 3 core things).

Frame NATURALLY shifts toward the person who actually knows what they’re talking about.

That’s why knowing your stuff is so important.

Because buyers aren’t just evaluating your product—they’re evaluating YOU.

They’re asking themselves:

“Does this person actually UNDERSTAND my world… or are they just reciting lines?”

The gooroo playbook teaches people to PERFORM certainty.

But you don’t have to ACT certain when you ARE certain.

You just have to know what you’re talking about—and the certainty naturally follows.

Then comes TELLING THE TRUTH.

Seems obvious, right?

But how do you tell the truth if you don’t even know what the truth is?

Exactly.

Because once you actually understand your market,

you no longer need to hide behind tracks and scripts,

and you stop dodging questions with a “what’s behind that?” line.

You recognize that your buyer NEEDS HELP—not to be handled—but to be given the clarity they need to make a clear decision.

You can say what works, what doesn’t, and who should NOT buy.

And THAT'S when the buyers lean in.

That honesty CREATES the most attractive form of safety—the kind that generates the very buyer confidence we all desperately crave.

And the last part — LETTING BUYERS BUY HOW THEY WANT.

That’s the REAL FLEX.

When you know your stuff and tell the truth,

you don’t have to man-handle the process.

You can stop fighting for control

and start letting it drift naturally toward you— because you’re not playing games.

Buyers absolutely FEEL the difference between being guided and being gamed.

Why do you think you get so much resistance?

At that point, the sale isn’t about persuasion anymore.

It’s about pattern recognition.

You stop trying to change people’s minds, and start recognizing the predictable ways real buyers make decisions — and you guide them through that process instead of forcing it.”

It’s the moment the buyer thinks:

“Finally… someone who actually GETS IT.”

And that right there, is what drives buyer autonomy.

Know your stuff.

Tell the truth.

Let buyers buy how they want.

When you educate your buyer to the point THEY effectivly become the expert,

the decision to buy (or not) becomes INEVITABLE.

And decisions are what we want.

One way or the other.

Don’t worry—if you lean into this trifecta, the right buyers will choose you.

The wrong ones will self-select out.

That’s The Autonomy Code.

And it sells itself.
